Wander Weekly: Summer is Here- Hit the Trails
Top travel reads, photos and the gear to get you there.
June 1st hits different when you live in New Hampshire. The mud season is finally behind us, the days stretch past 8pm, and I’ve already been eyeing a few trails I’ve been saving all winter.
This week I’m keep it local with some of my favorite trails nearby, but you can also explore EPIC HIKES AROUND THE WORLD.
Whether you’re local or visiting from out of town, this is the month to get out there.
Here’s what I’ve been reading, planning, and recommending this week.

The Welch-Dickey Loop Trail (NH)
This is one of my all-time favorite New Hampshire hikes. Open slabs, sweeping ridge views, and doable for most fit hikers. Summer is the perfect time to tackle it before the fall crowds arrive.

Best Hiking in Acadia National Park
Planning a Maine summer trip? Acadia is absolutely worth it. Between ocean trails and mountain summits, it’s one of the most varied parks in the US — and June is a sweet spot before peak tourist season.
